kislingbury history

Forming originally in 1890, kislingbury fc is one of the oldest clubs in the county. regrettably after a long history of success, the mens team folded and the club collapsed following departures of the previous volunteers and sides.

However in 2023, Total football academy found their home at kislingbury, bringing a high standard of football experience to over 20 juniors sides for the village. After 2 years of football being reestablished in the village through their excellent work, Kislingbury FC reformed for the 2025-26 season with our mens team, entering back into the northants combination league and starting in division 2 with an ambitious and dedicated group of coaches and volunteers to push the side to success and a bright future, continuing the great work they had been doing as tove valley fc before becoming kislingbury FC.

A brilliant first season ensued, with the side fast becoming a front runner in the division, entering one of the tightest title races in the leagues recent history, with kislingbury finishing one point behind Daventry Town to be named runners up on the final day of the season, as well as being unfortunate runners up in the league cup final as well.
